Some of us had fun being geeky and nerdy! Without further delays, the pictures!
Wow! What a great time of Cell Group Meeting we had at Kenneth's Place!
Here's the recap on the topic Angela shared on - Being a True Friend :)
Real friendships are never accidental! They are MADE, DEVELOPED, PLANNED and CULTIVATED.
2 kinds of friends we meet in life:
Acquaintance (casual friends) ; which is the result of circumstances.
Close friends ; which is the result of choice, and it is reserved to that few special ones.
Proverbs 12:26
Now, some kind of people we need to avoid them from being our close friends.
Lazy people (Prov 15:19)
Angry people (Eccl 7:9)
Immoral people (1 Cor 5:9)
Greedy people (Prov 1:10-19)
Unbelievers (2 Cor 6:14)
What should we look for when choosing close friends? Here is it. =)
1. Those who will help us to be wise (Prov 13:20)
do they help you to be wiser or lead you astray?
do they bring out the best of your life?
do they challenge you to aim higher, do greater things?
2. Those who will share our burdens (Gal 6:2)
They are the ones who will see us through when others let us down.
they are there to share our struggles, etc.
3. Those who will help me grow spiritually (Heb 10:24-26)
Indeed, when we are attractive (not just in the physical but also in the spiritual), we will draw the right close friends into our lives!;)
Let us...
Serve one another be generous and giving to others esteem others better than ourselves be more interested in other people encourage others appreciate others and being thankful to them smile all the time love our neighbor as ourselves
Soul winning is not a task to be handed, but it is an art to be mastered. (Prov 18:24)
